Yannick Lord - Biography Hailing from London, England - a recent expat to the sunny shores of California - Yannick is a true multi-media professional, with experience ranging from web and graphic design, to music production, film, post production, and of course photography. Yannick brings a holistic view of media and the visual medium to every assignment; creating images that take the purpose and distribution methods that will be used for the end product into account – be it personal, promotional or commercial. Whilst adept at image manipulation, Yannick aims to get every shot picture perfect from the outset, placing a strong emphasis on lighting and style. Easy going and highly professional, he puts models and crew at ease and uses his man management skills to keeping his team motivated and fluid. For the model to truly relax and shine, the entire crew needs to work in harmony and create an environment that brings out the best in all involved; that balance of relaxed and professional is what makes the difference between a good picture, and a great picture. Most assignments are shot on digital 35mm unless specifically requested prior to the shoot (please note that additional fees may apply).
